Some of the best food i've tried in Denver! Service was absolutely impeccable and did very well even with a large table of awkward nerds (me included) hahah

I was sure I had reviewed Tavernetta already but guess not. It is a special place. Have eaten here many times - lunch, dinner, special events. Have never had a bad meal, or even a disappointing dish. Excellent service, beautiful setting, superb wine program. For lunch today had a puréed chestnut and sunchoke soup, and mafaldine pasta with a lamb ragu. Both divine.

We've been wanting to dine here for ages, and we finally made it for dinner. The ambiance is dimly lit, cozy, and minimalist. We started with burrata and focaccia bread - the focaccia was incredibly soft and warm. I ordered the triangola, a four-cheese stuffed pasta with lemon. I love a hint of lemon in my pasta, and this dish was refreshingly bright. My husband had the gnocchi with mushrooms, which was also good, though both pastas were quite cheese-heavy. Tiramisu was excellent! Service was prompt and attentive. I'd recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or date night.

Food delicious. Service impecable - there were 6 different people that were a part of the table service. Fun, open atmosphere - really cool to see the open kitchen and their work flow. It's a well oiled machine. Everything was delicious and beautiful but the downside is portion size. Except the branzino, that's a niceeeee portion. But my husband got the pasta on special which was 6 tortellini. Bonus: GLUTEN FREE FOCACIA

I have never received service as excellent as Tavernetta. This restaurant is the pinnacle of being attentive to its customers. Everything was so coordinated and our waitress was so well spoken. The ambiance was also great for a date night, but for me this place screams special occasions between a spouse or significant other. The food was excellent and crafted with care. They have a sommelier for the perfect wine choice. Appetizers I loved were the Buratta, Focaccia, cheese plate, and meat plate. I had gnocchi as my main dish and although it was very good, I should have went with my gut on the steak. That is just me knowing I like to eat protein, but the gnocchi was fantastic nonetheless. I would 100% come here again for special occasions.

My husband was out of town so I decided to treat myself to a restaurant. I walked into Tavernetta having heard many great things. I came alone, party of one, no reservation. I came in and they notified me very nicely that there would be a wait for the bar. In the time I was waiting, a lovely person came to take my drink order. My drink came and it was so delicious! As I was sipping, I was shortly after directed that a spot had opened. THE ENTIRE TIME the bartenders taking care of me were SO SWEET. They gave amazing suggestions and adhoc conversations as they took care of everyone at the bar. The food, nothing short of incredible and delicious. The carpaccio is a must. It was delectable and melted in my mouth like butter.

Tavernetta had been on my short list for a long time. You can taste the care in which they take to create the flavorful pasta dishes. We had the rigatoni with lamb ragu and the winter squash ravioli in a brown butter sage sauce as our main course. The portion of ravioli was a bit small but filling since we had the Burrata and focaccia appetizers. To our surprise, the Burrata app does not come with bread or crackers so we opted to have the focaccia with it - a tip our waitress provided us with. Both appetizers were delicious. The Burrata was very fresh tasking and the herbs and sauces it was laying in was delightful. The focaccia was fluffy and came with an olive oil balsamic mix that complimented it well. Our cocktails were perfectly balanced. We decided to get the honey gelato for dessert and it was also very well balanced - not too sweet and a smooth, creamy texture.
